The brand's name is taken from the CEO’s childhood nickname, ‘Panic Phaze.’ As a teenager, Kershall Duhaney was the quiet one in the room; he would ‘panic’ if approached by females. As he gained confidence, he would try to approach women who were out of his league, and when he faced rejection, he would go through different ‘phases.’ He would shut himself off from the world and create products, comic book characters, and play video games.
